well i think its time to grow big ball as the say and try a big block. i have had my fun out of my 120ish bhp 1.6 gsi and fancy seeing what its like with a big block i dont want a full comp spec engine just a good kill list and a bit track day action like the 1.6 did

Big piston Bilstein Yellow fr shockers with some high poundage fr springs. ATB diff will help massively in conquering the Big block handling blues.

I would get a Courtenay Grp-N chip for the motor, oh & try & get an earlier XE from an Astra GTE as they are the best IMO. Though it will prolly need a rebuild.

Though it will prolly need a rebuild. Hallelujah! not very often you hear VX folk talking about rebuilds when doing XE conversions. Money v. well spent IMO!
