There was a post on here a while back about brake servos hissing. Mine was doing it on my SR, so today i changed it for a TD one. Guess what? the bloody thing is still hissing! Is this servo worn as well, or is this normal operation? plz help

Check the vacume pipe that goes into the inlet manifold. On the end of the pipe that goes into the servo, there's a rubber grommet, which sits in the hole and acts as a seal, these are really easy to tear, and this leads to an air leak = hissing sound. check this mate, there about ?3.50 from Vauxhall.
Hope this helps
Ben. :)

Also when fitting the little rubber grommet put a LITTLE oil on the inside hole so the pipe can slide in without tearing it. (I found out the hard way, how fragile they are!)
