Right spent last few nights playing with the nitrous on the rolling road. Very pleased with the results. The main reason I wanted it back on was due to amount of lag I was getting, now I have zero lag lol and is a serious animal. To cut it short it made 417bhp at the wheels and about 450ft/lb of torque which to be fair is quite a lot. The most torque it made was 480ft/lb with the power being 410bhp at the wheels. It now picks up a lot better and we couldnt stpo it lifting up on the rollers at all which can get a bit scary when i tlifts right up off them an then slams back on again at about 110mph, cant see it really lifting that much in the videos which is a shame lol.
It all feels good anyway so im hoping for a much improved time / terminal speed on sunday weather permiting.
Oh an here is a pic of the rubber left on the rollers them selves.

Some of the actual rolling road is now painted and is starting to look a little bit more presentable so it wont long until i will consider doing a rolling road day if anyone is interested, but also need to sort out the computer as well as we dont have a printer or the internet. As I could do with getting the graph off.

Well i still dont reckon it will get the times i want, it never will lol. I will just be happy with low 12s at the moment althought with a decent set up an good run there is an 11 in it, but with my luck it wont do that.
Whats the spec of the engine now?

?C20LET block with complete rebuilt to standard bore diameter
?Astra VXR injectors
?Adjustable fuel regulator
?Xe inlet camshaft
?Steel conrods
?Under piston oil squirters (1.7 D)
?Oil pressure increased by 10 psi
?Low compression pistons (7.9:1)
?F28 gear box with F20 Quaife ATB LSD fitted
?200sx exhaust manifold with flanges swapped to fit to the engine and turbo. Lots of bracing added to support the extra weight. And modified to fit a external waste gate
?GT30 Turbo
?38mm external waste gate with screamer pipe
?Manual boost controller
?WON nitrous kit, bottle warmer,
?Head ported and polished, and exhaust and inlet manifolds matched to the head.
?Spark plugs (forget what which ones lmfao)
?Evo 9 intercooler
Im sure there is loads more but I cant think at the moment. Thing letting it down at the moment is the management as its still on evo 5 but that seems to be coping alright to be honest bujt could be better.

Yes the videos are crap, need to hear it in person as its completely different lol. Best we got without gas was 314bhp at the wheels, so it seems the nitrous is giving roughly a 100bhp increase however im not using what would be assumed to be 100 jets....hmmmm. I shall be running it at pv of course, taking part in the totb qualifying all going well that is.
Plus something i have meantioned is that i got bored an made up a side exit exhaust which has about 3 feet of pipe of the turbo lol. I did run it on the road for about 3 miles then swapped back the other as it was too loud an flames licking up the side of the car. So ive decided thats my pod exhaust, so that is another little restriction ive got rid of but not ran that on the rollers.
Good to hear the nitrous is doing its job and getting rid of the lag issue Phil!
417bhp @ wheels is pretty impressive!
Not going to be able to make this Sunday, as I have two assignments in for uni on Monday which is a pain in the ****, espacially as its the last RWYB day before PVS!
Hope you get on well anyway mate! Look forward to seeing what times you get!
Rob.
