heres a good example (briefly)

I lost my V5 for an old car whilst moving house. I called DVLA to inform them of a change of address but they cant issue the new V5 unless I pay ?20. But they wont send it to a new address either. So they want ?20 for a document that they insist on sending to an address I cant retreive it from.

I did explain my predicament but they wont budge. For that, they are class A p ricks.

Oh & dont get me started on the issues surrounding taxing my TD back in November......

i threatend them with legal action to get my logbook when i re-shelled my nova. It took 2 months just to get the logbook back, so i could MOT car! that could off been 2 months of loss of earnings!

To be fair though, if they didnt do that, anyone could get a new logbook for a car for 20 quid, and then do and steal the car when it comes through the post lol

But i have to agree, I called them once to find out about the rules of transfering plates. Spoke to three 'ethnic's' who could hardly speak english, let alone explain how long a car can be out of MOT before you cant transfer off it. Then I got told some information which was completely false.

The place is based in Wales though, so fair play to them even having electricity! lol
