Weird Heater Problem

After finally puttin in my new matrix and connecting up the relevant hoses, ive come across a weird problem.

Hot air is now blowing beautifully through the de-mister vents and from the matrix itself (Therefore heating bottom of car), but not through the actual radiator grilles themselves, Why :-/

I checked the matrix alignment n it seems fine but still just blows cold air through main vents whilst hot through all the others.

Any ideas??????

They don't blow hot air the middle ones. Well mine and my brojhters and dave's don't so I assume none of them do. the window ones and the side ones blow hot.

same with mine... middle ones, when open just blow cold.

yeah the middle ones are usless. there just there to fill up space till you put your dvd player in there.

My side vents only blow out hot, and not cold air. The dial which is meant to vary the air temp doesn't do anything. I know that the wire behind the dash is still connected so what else could it be?

O right, what a weird vauxhall bit of thinkin.
That is so pointless.
I'll just have to keep the middle main vents to off then and make do with all the others.
Still heats car quite well actually.
