no dont have rear coilovers,
just lowered 60mm on spax adjustables.

why do you say that?
on a standard ( as opposed to a coilover converted) nova, the springs fit to the chassis legs, & the shock absorbers fit in the rear arches.
A huge proportion of the forces are transmitted through the spring seats, and a small proportion goes through the shock absorbers. this force is vertical.
the only way to strengthen this area would be to fix a strut vertically to the roof. Fitting a bar between the shocker bolts doesn't actually do anything in engineering terms.
The front strut brace is bolted directly to the shell for rigidity.
The rear ones bolt to the top of the shock absorber which has a rubber bush fitted for flexibility.
I'm not saying all rear struts are useless, but for this particular type of setup, they are.
