Unfortunately its just a agila and is unlikely to carry the nova name (fortunately if its gonna like this)
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpr...eady_to_go.html (http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/208640/new_nova_is_ready_to_go.html)

I don't know how they can claim it's the "new Nova", it has nothing to do with it at all apart from being cheap and probably fairly crap.

That looks awful - like most small cars these days, its too tall and the bonnet is too short, yuck. It has nothing to do with the Nova. They might put the Nova name on it to help get sales from nostalgic former nova owners. But the one problem with that is they cant go calling it corsa in regions everywhere other than the UK like the Nova was.

NOooooooo! Talk about dragging the name through the dirt.

The Nova name badge could've been ripe for keeping in reserve for a retro hatch in the future.

Vauxhall really are great at employing the brains of utter muppets at there marketing dept.

i say if they was to design a new nova it should have the mk2 shell but with more modern strenghening and a better chassis just make it a way better design of the mk2 nova and i agree with paul ^^ too tall and bonnet too short all cars are getting like it nowdays

lol good job!

TBH I think Vauxhall would rather disassociate themselves with the Nova name as far as new models are concerned as much as we would like them too. may be wrong though lol

Yeah it's a total gheym0bile :tard:

Yeah, I was about to say, where does it say it will be called Nova, its the new Agila lol

If it was going to be called Nova, they'd probably offer it in a burberry paint scheme.

Anywoo, not my cup of tea. Still looks the same as every other minivan on the market (as fcuk do any of them look like a car). I'd still rather have an Aygo.

Even the CTR reminds me of an MPV or as you put it Jack, minivan lol

I nearly cried when I seen something about the New Nova

Aslong as they don't name it the Nova it will be fine :)

I always thought it was a shame vauxhall didn't license out production of the nova to poorer/developing countries, like volkswagen did with the original beetle. It would have been perfect for poorer countries since its mechanically simple, reliable and easy to fix, and we would all have no problem fighting rust as we could import new cars, and get replacement panels and parts easily. Stupid vauxhall!

i was alls under the influence that a nova was a Corsa A - so really wudnt the new corsa be like the corsa d or summit

I love Ronal Bears. I think EVERY car should have them on. In fact, on every photoshop from now on I think the bears must be included unless otherwise stated.

i hate it

if i were re-releasing the nova all you need to do is.

keep the lines sharp, but maybe a more aerodynamic shape if you get me, keep it a wee car though.
make it out of something that doesnt rust so easy.
make the smallest engine a 1.4i going up to a 1.6 turbo :D

sooooooorted!

This is an auto-express article. Autoexpress are ****, they make everything up.

So in reality, vauxhall have made a super-mini. Called the Agila. Which has no relation what-so-ever to the Vauxhall nova.

Jack

That man he speaketh the truth! Autoexpress are complete noddies, i cite reference to a recent buyers guide they wrote about Celicas. Was utter tosh!

Plastic! like most cars are nowadays lol It'd probably be a 1.3 tops, most micro cars have tiiiny engines.

It Would Be Good If It Had The Same Chassis Of The Old Nova Then We Could Pull Them Apart And Put Proper Nova Bits On Them And Have A Brand Spanker.
