All the wide arch kits I know of are designed for 3drs, so would require a LOT of work to get the rear ones to fit!

Pro Tec do a kit, available here (http://www.pro-tecmotorsport.com/partsDetails.cfm?id=80).

Having said that, I think you can get a ghey saxo style kit on ebay which includes round arch extensions - dunno if these are proper wide arches, but might be more suited to the 5dr?

Wicked thanx mate, i've looked at a kit on phoenix autosport, which is a custom kit, i just dont think i can modify the arches and side skirts enough to fit the 5 door, the front bumper looks the nuts tho, i think a mix and match is order!

If your looking to widen the track ever so slightly then you could try Mk2 golf arch extensions.

I dunno how similar the arches are so it may be a complete no go from the start.

You could also try fiesta xr2 extensions.

Why is someone who works for GSF not driving a golf lol.
I'm suprised you haven't succumbed to the dark side.

Golfs aren't my scene, all my mates are vauxhall drivers anyway, and for the fact that i've had a nova for about 4 months!!!!! OH and most people in slough either have golfs or corsa's so i wanted to be different!!!!!!

I may be converting to the dark side in October.
My brother will be selling his mk1 GTI as he has just bought a road legal quad and would like to be able to put it in the back of something.

So he's either going to get an L200 or some sort of van.

It'll all be good though as I'm still keeping one of my novas.

cool! i spoke to someone the other day, who has put a 225BHP TT engine in a mk1 golf, not only that, he'd also uprated the ECU and had it mapped @ 300 + BHP. bloody lunatic!
