View Full Version : After a 4-5 year build its almost done!

Well after what seems like the longest build in the world my nova is now almost done. Its been at the mappers for a few weeks now and they began to look at it yesterday. Just spoken to them and at long last it has a engine in it that starts on the key, idles, rev's cleanly etc. All thats left is to take it for a spin and check the fueling etc is all good. As long as that goes without hitch then i shud be collecting it tomorrow. :D

Yes it will be at PV providing it goes through the MOT ok and emerges from tomorrow in one piece!

I am from Macclesfield. Shud be me and rob smith in his spider going down in a convoy. Neither of which cars will be that easy to miss!

Making very little power at the moment as it needs a quick run in before much boost can be added. Shud have a fare old amount of boost very soon.

Gordon Bennett if we carry on at this rate all the old timers of here(inc. ian )will have driveable cars :wtf: this can't be right lol!

Looks great! Gently bentley on the running in and getting mapped for full power. If it is anything like mine it'll take time but will be worth it.

PS I see on top fuellers they have chains to hold the heads down in case the whole thing lets go ... just a thought lol

that looks really sweet hope it runns ok. what turbo are you useing that looks huge and what manifold is that. ive been building one of mine for past 4 years and it still not done. had loads of bad luk with it but things lookings ok now turbo engine nearly in. any idea what sort of bhp you will be running.
