Would the Cavalier Digital Clock fit in the space where the Nova Clock goes??

Vaughan!

No. Not unless you fancy doing a lot of cutting and remaking. I've got one to go there complete with temperature sensor, will possibly have a go at fitting it one day.

ideal mate - let me know how you get on with it

Thats given me an incentive to get mine done. I'm guessing you've cut the cavalier clock surround to get it to fit?

I still need to figure out which pins on the connector at the back of the clock do what. Got the temperature sensor to go with it, but gotta figure out where to connect it to lol

IT's not mine, but a random pic in my Nova folder - iirc it might be LoggyBoys

Buy two butcher the temp sensor out and chuck it... butcher the other clock from the other set and mount both clocks together... Then you can set one to a different time zone like Hong Kong or New York :D

Or just blank the temp sensor off and have it as a switch panel.

That was a pic of my old sri, (now in liverpool area i believe)
That was a first attempt. Tried making it again, so i could use the cav surround aswell, make it look more factory.

It requires MAXIMUM trimming of the clock to get it into there without having to cut the dash. Top of the clock circuit board virtually touches the hazzard switch.

The temp display couldnt be used as a switch pannel as it shares the same screen as the clock (id use a clock from something else, say mk3 fiesta, and mount that in std holder if it was just a digi clock you were after, but i wanted the temp gauge)

Dont currently have any better pics of it
