engine with not alot of work?

what engines will fit in a nova without needing body extentions,rear engines. basically what engines will fit in the engine bay as it is? thanks you very much for any help anyone can give me. what im wanting to do is take a look at what will go in then speak to a friend who owns a scrap yard to see if he gets one in to keep it for me. cheers Ian:thumb: :thumb:

i know the nova engines will fit, thanks, what other engines? i understand will have to change mounts etc i mean would any astra engines fit? vectra? fiesta rs turbos? anyone used any engines apart from vauxhalls?

it IS possible to fit literally ANY engine into any car, its making it fit thats the hard part

so yes, you can fit any engine, as for what mounts where, what needs moving, what isnt needed, its more trial and error tbh

making engines fit is the easy part. its the driveshafts and gear linkages that become a problem

an engine out of a 1.6 cavelier will fit with no problems or mods, same with astras,, but vectra's ect will need a few modifications like looms ecu's etc
