hey all i have a digi dash in my 2l nova and the spedo dosent work ive checked all the connections behing the digi dash there all fine but it whont work what couled it be ???

coulb be wrong transducer iirc they dont all work with all dashes - could be wrong tho

or the transducer could just be fooked. double check youve got all the wires correct aswell.

If the transducer/wiring is working you will get speed displayed.
Whether its the correct speed is down to the transducer type.
If you get no speed check the ign live,earth connections at the sender.

Take the speed sender off the gearbox and check the spindle in the middle is still intact - they can snap. Then spin it by hand (a small bit of tube over the spindle helps this). If the dash registers any speed then the speedo drive has gone in the gearbox. If it doesn't register anything then chances are you've got a duff sender or dodgy wiring. Check for +12v between the black and brown connection and see if there is around 12v dropping to 0 volts between the blue and the brown.
