1.6 gsi to carb

i just put a 1.6 gsi engine inn 1.2 nova wanna covert it to carbretter 1 prob i got there is a hole inn the back of the head its for egr valve can it be blocked off

Ye, tap it and fit a bolt with threadlock.
I really dont see why you would want fit a carb tho, entirely pointless imo.

Agreed, the efi is simple to wire up. the fuel system is alwo dead easy. trying to get carbs on & to get them to work well is a lot of work & money.

Agree. There is more work involved in sorting it to run on a carb than to get to the bottom of whatever issue you have with the injection assuming it isnt running right, or are you afraid of 7 wires & running 2 fuel lines?
