Just out of interest, would like to see what everyone thinks theyre going to get down the strip this year at the pod. Could everyone just post up a time and terminal, brief enigne spec, and previosu best 1/4, like this:

PB: 13.1@108mph
Est: 12.7@112?ish

engine ran 14.4 in my old car so hopeing for a bit quicker in my new one as it is a bit lighter.

I will be happy with a low 12 and a terminal of 120mph+ but that only gives 2 days at santa pod to have a play and thats if its not raining this sunday.

Whats the usual times for a standard xe nova with interior? high 14s?

my times are

Nova sr 1400 8v 113bhp 110lb/ft
PB: 16.655 @84.45 mph
Est: 16's or high maybe mid 15's


All the times i have had have been in full road trim on crappy plastic tryes so i might get some nice sticky tyres (yokos?) and take some weight out and could get some 15's which is really good for a 1400. That previous best time has been beat. I got a 16.4 ish time in febuary at the pod but forgot to get my slip never mind i will beat it this season:thumb:

Gunna lave all my interior in the novaload stand area while my cars on the strip. Would taking off the bonnet help? Stool where seat once was... lol joke
