on the xe loom its usually a brown/blue wire to the nova brown/white i think but dont hold me to it

The ecu light wire on the 20xe loom plug(brown/white wire on xe iirc) just gets joined straight to the nova ecu dash light(brown/blue wire)

Wire it to your choke light then.
Brown/yellow wire :)

i dont suppose you know the difference between a group n ecu and standard? which should i use to wear the engine in thx

got standard one on at the mo the revs keep dropping building back up some times stalling but starts straight back up any ideas

Wire the light up, and see if the light appears when the revs start to fall.

Probably idle valve playing up.

is this a common fault the idle valve how do you clean it any way off wiring it up on a bulb rather than dash
