Mk1 Dash and Double Din H.U.

Hi Folks

I own a Nova (LHD) and i'm planning to install a Doudle-Din Head Unit in a Mk1 Dashboard. Is it possible?Does anyone here have already tried this mod?Is it too hard to made it?

The Headunit i'm planning to buy is an Alpine one (or other brand in case the Alpine doesn't fit correctly into the dash).

i suppose you could remove all the heater controls/vents under the stereo and put it there ??

I would go with removing the heater crap also mate

If it doesn't have to be on show, could always run the 2nd HU in the glovebox?

I was thinking in removing the center vents but leave the heater controls and the clock in it's place. Could this be enough to make the Double Din instalation?

The double din Headunit is a unit that has twice the height of a normall headunit
