HELP! RE: wheel spacers

hey,
i have 15" wheels, lowered 40mm on a corsa but the wheels are 7j, if i was to remove the spacers would this reduce the chance of rubbing?
are they needed?

yeah dan sort it out!

i saw u around 9pm emmm on suday night u did a wheel spin at the lights near jeep showroom. if u do it again iam calling the police OK its not allowed.

they catch on the arch, and r normal spacers that go on the hub
