lol that looks pretty darn good. im sure there is more to it than that though i mean christ!
Aye, something doesn't add up. I've seen rollered vans/buses etc before and OMG, brush hairs in paint too lol
I'd never even dream about painting a car with a roller but the results don't look too horrific lol
Aye lol tempted to do the xr2 in black now LOL
What is rustoleum though, do we have a UK equivalent?
'Cos if it's the same price as a big tin of hammerite then this aint gona cost 30 ish quid!

That's Boll*cks! there's no way that finish is possible using ANY rollers!!!
Don't see why TBH, very thin coats, and flat down any runs / layers, be hard to get it that good, but I think you could get it presentable.
Or do like a kid near me and rattle can your car on the drive! pmsl
Might have to roller the saloon lol

i would attempt a rattle can DIY but NOT on the drive. i would do it in a decent dry place though. Thing to do is only use 2/3s of the rattle can then open a newun. cuts down on spatters etc. The flat and polish afterwards would be the hardest bit though :P
Yeah you can get some nice ghey baby blue colours in Homebase lol

I hate it when you rattle can something and the can is on its last legs and you keep going and going, then splurt! lol fcuk.

Balls, I've got a colour sorted now, just need to save some pennies for the spray. Sooooo.... 2009 then

doesnt look bad that - if you read it he thinned out the black so would flow easier and sanded it back before polishing - it used to get done back in the day by heating the paint up first then applying was known as hotpot or something my teacher once told me
it's a photoshop lol
sorry, that finish is probably better than the car had new! I guess it could work but it shouldn't.

done it loads of times with a rattle can and to be honest id rather only use 2/3s of the can and buy a newun rather than sand the whole thing back again lol. Im done and dusted with rattle cans nower days though. i just take it the bodyshop and stump up the money for a good job. dont get me wrong i can get a half decent finish certainly presentable BUT i cant be ****d taking a full weekend to get a bumper looking good.
Jack, the saloons spray job on the shaloon cost a grand total of ?46 lol
