Pic request-Rear of a SRi engine

Anyone got a sri engine lying about, i need a pic of the rear, specifically the alternator to block bracket.

Need to see if its any different to a carb/spi bracket.

IIRC it is different.

I've got an E16SE alt brkt kicking around. I reckon that would be the same as SRi.

To compare to the one i have.

Its for the 16v engine, the one i have makes the alt out of line with the crank pully.
So was wondering if a crank sensor equipped 8v had a different bracket....

It doesnt fit the nova v-belt alternator.

Thanks to nazza's nova, i now have a pic of a sri alt bracket, and it looks 90% different than my spi bracket.
I'll check for sure later.

Thats the reason the belt wont line up, crank sensor wheel pully is wider so needs a bracket to move the alternator out a bit.

yep, msn if you need to. On the sri the pulley on the alternator is spaced out to line up with the crank pulley.

How is it spaced out Mike? Big washer?

It is spaced out using another half of a pulley, I'll get a pic of mine soon as I can.

Sounds like i need a sri alternator then..
