The Vauxhall 'Operation Safety and Maintenance' manual (that come with my car) says an SR weighs 775kgs and a bit of text at the bottom implies that this is a boggo one with no additional extras. It doesn't say if this is a dry weight or with coolant, oil and petrol in the tank though.

Full tank = 40.9 litres petrol = 30Kg (source (http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2001-03/984671745.Ch.r.html))
Full oil = 3.0 litres oil = 2.6Kg (source (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_does_automotive_oil_weigh))
Full coolant = 6.1 litres water = 6.1Kg (source (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_does_one_gallon_of_water_weigh)), but depends on water temperature
Transmission = 1.85 litres = 1.6Kg

So if the Haynes weight is a dry weight, thats an extra >40Kg in fluids if its full up.
