Due to much needed funds I am force to sell my project, Vauxhall Nova Rally Car.
Bit of history:- car started out as a 1.3SR, good F reg shell in red, has a few spots of rust on it but all in all a solid little car. Plan was to get an engine, mod it, make it safe and then use it as a road rally car?
I bought it 2years ago, as a 1.3, took the engine out and got a replacement engine from a cavalier 2ltr 8v SRI (C20NE) that had 80k miles on it?.. as I was going to do this I thought I?d give the engine the best chance against the competition and mod it slightly.
Engine:
2ltr 8v SRI engine on 80k
Full rebuild, not even run in so is still spankers
Fully lightened crank
All new big end bearings/shells/ ARP bolts
Machined, lightened and balanced Flywheel
Black Diamond Power Clutch
Astra 1.8 Mk1 big valve head ? skimmed, ported and polished
Inlet manifold flowed slightly
Irmischer High lift Cam
Uprated solid rockers and new lifters
Aluminium Machined ?V? crank alternator pulley
4 branch manifold
Rally exhaust (no cat with 2boxes) (needs matching to manifold)
K&N air filter
Every gasket/seal has been replaced, new head bolts, timing belt etc.
New water pump
Aluminium radiator
F-16 box
As I have said above, this engine is brand new and has not even been run in, will require set up and 1000miles run in period!!!
Am unsure of the power that will be produced, depending on the management used maybe u will get 160bhp+ with a similar torque figure? This is only a guestimate but would be something in the region?

6 point OMP rollcage with door bars, welded in.
Engine bay welded.
Fully stripped inside, only dash remaining
2 cobra bucket seats fabricated to nova sliding subframes
Racing 4 point harnesses
MOMO Sports steering wheel
Floor repainted to match car.

Full Polybushes (need fitting)
PI coilover suspension front (height/camber adjustable)
Bilstein rear dampers and Spax lowering springs -40mm
OMP front adjustable strut brace
New track rod ends (need fitting)
Wheels
4 x Astra MK3 GSI wheels and tyres 15?
4 x White Team Dynamics 6spoke alloys with tyres 15?
I have collected a fair few bits for this car over the time I have had it so all spares will be included in sale (boot, bonnet, bumpers full set of glass, lights, indicators, most of the standard parts, alternator, starter motor etc, I might even have the old head) anyway, all will be included!!
This car is not running and will need to be collected with a trailer as has no MOT/TAX as it has been garaged for the last 18months.
Will need a few parts i.e., brakes fitting, lines, track rod ends, wing needs to be fitted properly as was in process of repainting, bit of wiring...
