I remember watching it on the 1/4 mile @ PV a few years ago. It torque steered so bad it almost hit the left hand wall. I think he missed a gear change from what I heard as I watched. Lots of grunt!
Nice one Craig, it isn't the one that used to run phase II Renault 16v wheels is it? Ford Citrine yellow? Used to love that one when at school lol All the old Max Power mags with the Nova thrashes at Santa Pod etc iirc

The Q plater was built by Andy Windsor. It had an F28 6spd in it all that time ago in 1996. Apparently that was built from the last ever remaining factory bare GSi shell too.
Sadly, the wheels cant be seen (bottom left)

Yeah the peppermint one was owned by Simon Bellis IIRC. It was one of the fearless modded Novas from Manchester area. I've got the Max Power feature at home. It was a 1.3 SR but ended up with an XE before being written off in an accident. I think I heard Simon built another (white one).

Yeah, I thought it ended up in someone elses ownership.
RJ will leave a jizz puddle (reply) in here later no doubt. Everything was so much simpler back in the good old days.. If you could afford it, you wanted Speedlines & GSi kit. End of.

So true! The days before Ripspeed and the F&F ruined everything!
HA!
Siemon Bellis's* peppermint was killed in a smash up the rear from a Golf GTi while "Dabbling" He then re-shelled into a white van, K602UFR, removing all the van panels inside and ou and respraying it Toyota Supra White.that he then sold to a local lad called Andy, then Howell had it and Dan Le Moignan owns it now...
*Sie was a bodyshop guy, painted his own cars and did some paint on Brett W's car when it was breeze blue INCLUDING WHEELS/ROCKER/BODY....
Love the Nova group reprint..... Has that been posted in oldskool ???(I notice you've nicked my scans of Sie and H16VTB!)
d respraying it Toyota Supra White.
Did he go to work for Mr T and steal that paint everytime there was one in for repair also? lol
