ive got a bad misfire on my xe nova. ive replaced the plugs leads coil and dizzy cap and arm. ive done a compression check and there all good! im thinking that maybe an injector has gone down but not sure, it seems to clear out though higher up the rev range so im abit miffed about this one. any help would be great as i want to set fire to the car!!! thanks in advance

you might have a clasic case of air getting into the fuel lines lol

And why would that cause a constant misfire??

yep reckon that could be the cause of it then. ow well gives you the excuse to tune the replacment engine.

well it would cause a constant misfire coz it is getting more air than fuel but when the revs get higher up it needs more fuel and therefore cant lift as much air as fuel lol
