right.. im wanting to lower my nova 60mm all round, prehaps 80mm on the front, but i cant afford 45 profile tyres as there a bomb to buy, so if i lowered it on my 50 tyres, how much would they rub? and where?
my rear arches are rolled, and on standard ride height ive got about 3mm gap on the front shock and wheel and 2mm on the rear shock and wheel.

80mm on the front is just stupid! 60 is max IMO. 80's go on ok on the back though. And on 50's it will scrub like a biatch.

50's will probably rub the shock, and the arch lip.

45's are the best choice(but ?20 each more than 50s)

80mm on the front, i'd doubt you'd even be able turn the wheel(it would be sitting inside the arch)

Save your money up and buy some 45s, the car can't be that desperate for some new tyres?
