electric sun roof motor ???????

hey i have just aquired a electric sun roof motor wiring and switch out of a calibra and was wondereing before i start pulling mine apart where to fit the switch and if you still have to use the old cranking handle cover plate to hide the mechnasim?

I read a guide that RJ posted from a magazine once. It basically said that you remove the cranking handle and nova cover, and fit the cally/cavvy one in its place, and that the interior light is a switched earth so you just take the power from the wiring that's already there.

ok so its got power from the interior light to power it but what covers it as there wont be no cranking handle or screw to hold the whole plasic cover between the interior light and the sun roof where should the switch be mounted?

you need the cover from a cav/calibra as it has a space for the switch
