In all honesty yes you do but it depends how you drive it,the best normal ones imo are LUK clutches which for a gsi are around ?70+vat although paddle clutches are expensive theyre both lighter and more durable but for something like that expect to pay at least a couple of hundred for a good un!

AP paddle clutch is very much so recommended if you can stretch the budget

What have you done to increase it to that power?

Not being funny just wondering if it is genuinly that powerful...

Std will probably be fine tbh.
I still have a old 15k/20k clutch on my t40d 1.4(and thats gone from 59bhp spi, to about 100-110bhp)
With no probs.

yeh that should be genuinely that power.

I was thinking, ohh no here comes: chip, filter and 'zorst'. lol

As LLTN says i think a new standard one will be ok.

Go for an uprated one if you want to go drag racing or on the track. It will make a difference to the overall performance of the car. A Paddle clutch would be a bit of a b*tch if its your daily drive, but organic clutches are a good halfway house between paddle and std. They are designed to take more torque.

Fair enough, I'm going on what I've experienced with a paddle & organic in S14a's. The organic was much easier for me to live with for my daily drive, paddles were far too on off & got hot in traffic.
