Yeah man! I raed mi mate up dis hill with mi brother in my car when i had a 1.2Antibes and he couldnt catch me plus it was only him in the car and i was actually starting to leave him! i also raced mi other mate who had a 1.8 diesel fiesta and WAHAY! beat him too!! Hope this helped!

The 1.2 carb engine produces like 58-60bhp. All depends on how many miles - Fuel mixture - Condition of air filter - etc - etc. But i'm sure it's gotta be faster than a 1.3 escort. I had a C-reg 1.2 last year, but only 66k on the clock. Engine woz in mint condition. It was fast. When I got my 1.3SR I couldn't really tell the difference until I put a weber twin choke + filter on.
