1.0 to 1.2 return pipe

after puttin 1.2 in my nova, the 1.0 litre only had one pipe goin to carb and now i hav to run a return pipe back. dont want to switch tanks or to have to start drilling holes in tank, would it be ok to put a T piece before fuel pump and put a non return valve between return pipe and T piece

yes it'd be fine, you wouldn't need to fit a non return valve as the pump will be pushing the fuel one way anyway

i was told to put the non return valve on in case it tried to drain the carb

you could jus get a piece of pipe and put a screw or bolt in the end of it and put a jubilee clip around it ad save all the bother of making a t-piece, would do the same job lol

the tank swap is about a ten minute job, just do it. it is safer in the long run

there would be no hope of gettin a 2nd hand 1.2 tank in ireland. never mind anything else.i have run the pipe back to the pipe before the pumn return valve and its working well, so the jobs a good un , thanks

not to be rude, but wasn't there a tank on the car you got the 1.2 engine out of?

bought the engine 2nd hand, jus the engine and radiator and gearbox, rest of car was crushed
