roll them!!! cutting them weakens it

You can grind back to the spot welds, but not beyond!

It depends how much clearance you need for your wheels/tyres.

You might not have to do either.

grind but remember to protect with underseal.;)

Grind back to spot welds as suggested, then carefully roll what is left.. You will have more clearance than you will ever need..That`s what i did.

To stop the old rust use seam sealer to stop water getting into the roll then apply plenty of underseal..The more the merrier..
