ok, ive got bout ?7000, and im toyin with the idea of keepin the nova and strippin out the back, puttin race seats in front, bigger engine, false floor with ice flushed into back, roll cage, boot brace, beter brakes, suspension, few body and interior mods, and mayby a respray if i can afford it.. so as u can imagine it will be pretty good!! but i could just get a different car, but i duno cause im kinda attacted to the nova, but will take alot of time and money to do up, but once done would piss over anything i could afford straight up for bout the same price, so wot do ya reakon peeps... ideas pleeeeeeeeseeee :D

If i had ?7000 i'd try and make a 2l 16v turbo 4x4 nova. I'd not bother too much with styling, just power and handling.

It also depends on how attached you are to the money. Buying a car such as Brian suggested and keeping it std would retain a good part of its value if you were to trade it in again after 6mths or a yr or so, you could afford to buy summink else nice. I know some blokes who do this and have sum phat cars. Some even manage to make a little on the side by buying a bargain and selling them for good money. Once you start to pour money into modding a car you will never see it again. There are plenty 4 sale - nice cars - loads done - ?000's spent etc going for a fraction of what they cost.
