oil pump

How difficult is too change a a oil pump :eek: on a e16se anyone one bought one recently:confused:

i think its just an external one, take the sump off (drain the oil first)
take the pipe thing off from inside the sump and unbolt the oil pump from the bottom of the block

as above, you need to drain the oil and take the sump off to get the oil feed pipe out, take the bottom pulley cog off and unbolt the pump

does the oil switch separtate from the pump could it be at fault?

been told the pump is fine:) how many wires should go too the switch?:confused: ive got 1.which was held on with a nut.put the wire on to the other terminal light now on when ignition is on and then goes out when started yipeeeee:)
