My official job title is Production Administrator for the Academic and Science Division... essentially its office work.

The agency I've just signed up for run Thames Valley Police's contract for temps so I'd imagine I'll be placed somewhere with them... an excellent company to get your foot in the door with ;) .

The other job they mentioned was an Internet Researcher for a mobile phone manufacturer. I'll basically visit forums, blogs etc all day researching the latest model phones and copying and pasting any feedback i find into a report.

when i was temping in a factory i decided to stay in wales for an extra day after aweekend. so i called them monday morning and said "i cant be ****d to come intoday as you dont pay me enough" the day after, went in, filled in the day off form. got talked to by the floor manager and got a pay rise lmao.
something to do with being honest and actually being a good worker lol.

Nope... if you don't work you don't get paid... but you'd be suprised.

People still rely on you even though your just a temp.
The place I work at is very short staffed so someone off sick (even just a temp) can have a massive effect. Gone are the days of giving the temp all the crap work to do... they give you responsibilities and everything now lol

The only responsibility I give a **** about is getting my time sheet signed and sent off.

I've got an N95, its not bad but:
1) has a habit of reseting its self i.e. switchin off and then back on
2) sometimes when you ring someone they can't hear you and you have to switch it off and then on again.
3) the battery life is rubbish
4) digital zoom is very poor
5) the feature to type a name in the 'to' part of a text message has been removed. now you have to scroll through the phone book.

I'm debating whether I prefered my N70 or not lol

Westlands in Yeovil has a workforce of which 95% are temps.
