just wondering could i make my own mantzel style inlet? seem very simple design, have mig welder an well able ta use it!:thumb: anyone done this? cheers!

Yeah. Its fairly easy with your skills.

Someone on MIG made one recently & posted pics of building it & fitting it.

Probably within the last month.

Can either make it out of stainless, or alloy, think you can weld them with a certain type of gas.

But the ability to make a mantzel type inlet, and the ability to make it well are two different things.
Ideally you want the dimensions right, and the inside of the box to have nice smooth mouth's into the inlet runners(not just saw holes to match the inlet)
You will need to accurate make the hole for the throttle body too, and drill tap the threads for it, and the brake servo union etc.
