The ecu to car plug must have RED-Live 12v
BLACK-Ign
RED/BLUE- To the fuel pump.

Thats alls you need for it to start.

As soon as you crank the ecu energises the fuel pump relay, turning the pump on.

Well, the e16se engine loom has a plug on it, where it plugs into the gte's car loom.
It has a few wires
Red,Black,Red/Blue,Green,Blue,Brown/White

If you join the Red to a permanent live(the batt), the black to an ignition live(ign coil, fusebox, ign switch) and the red/blue to the fuel pump.
The engine WILL start, assuming it has pistons etc,Lol. And everything is working(the coil etc)

Edit-Because you have a sri, you could wire those wires/\ to the ones that went to the sri ecu.

so the red and blue one i can just run a wire to the positive on fuel pump

Yes

i have the pump running of the old loom is this wrong or would it work

Adam

Thats wrong.

You need the gte engine loom(with its fuel relay) controlling the pump.
As the old look fuel relay wont go live with the sri ecu removed.

so i keep the gte fuel relay as it is and then join the red blue wire from the plug thing to the fule pump

The red/blue in the black plug on the gte engine loom, join that to the Red/Blue at the SRI fuel pump relay(as thats still wired to the pump). That would work.

is that with the old ecu disconnected then

Adam

Yeah.
As the Red/Blue wire from the SRI relay doesn't run to the ecu.
It runs to the pump.
