corsa bits on a nova

buying a crashed corsa gsi next week, (1.6 16v here i come!) anyway my center section has been cut and welded about 10 times and is fuukt im just wondering if the corsa center section could be made to fit a nova? also, if the corsa has the immob thingy does that mean my car cannot be stolen without the key?

Your Corsa will unlikely have the immobiliser within the ECU as most GSi's have the earlier C16XE engine wheras the immob is on the X16 units.

I doubt the Corsa centre section wil fit as the floor pans between the cars vary as does the mounting points for the exhaust rubbers. You could try but I'm doubtfull.
