Keep the noise reasonable or it will piss you off big time, take the back box off and try it out for a week or two.

What!! Louder!! I've got a 1.2 Nova A-Reg with a K+N bolt on, and a bb2, it roars!
Check that everything is tight, and loosten the heater tube if you have one in the engine (you should have disconnected this for the fitting of the air filter.)
Try that, if not, get either a bb4 or drill some holes in it - but remember the more holes you have the less power your going to get out of it.

It will just remove some of the scilencing making it louder, it won,t effect the engine as the exhaust is just a pipe to take the gasses to the rear of the car and scilence the noise. You can then get an idea of whether it is worth spending money to make your car louder, I think after a week you will be fed up with the noise but it's up to you. Happy tinckering.

You could try a powerflow system. I have one on my SRI and it roars like hell!!

U dint need to know where he lives, youl b able to hear him! dont get ur car soundin like these shitty old Fiesta's, fit some more exhausts on or sommat, like the astra in the gallery thingy...6 exhausts! nice!!

I've got a Janspeed backbox on my SR - 3.5 inch round and it absolutely roars!!
