That's the proper way to do it.

errr not realy, the proper way to do it is have the hose/ filter in the standard position, the way that is done puts the air flow meter in the line of fire and means you need to take a hole saw to your engine bay! nicelol

I ve seen the air filter the other way up before too! so the filter is in front of the wheel.

As for pink nova's the one in the scrappy, I think it was on ebay last year?
but the LET is in south wales! and its just changed hands.
I best not say any more :)

Ah well, I was told that was the proper way to do it by someone a while ago. I guess the real answer to the question is, it's there because that's where they wanted to put it. It's a bit of a non-question really.

that 1st one TWAG posted looks like a guys from round here, that was the first big kit it had, now its a blue one with round arches but equally gay kit - although it just sits on his drive, ill try get some pics when i go past next

the air filter is there because the turbo elbow has been cut and welded so the slam panel doesnt need to be cut?
