Fitting laguna splitter

Probably been asked 100 times, tried using search but came back with nothing.

Whats the best way for fitting a laguna splitter to my gsi bumper? I looked at the splitter and put it against my bumper. Im guessing measure the bumper and splitter, then cut out the middle what isnt needed. Then cut a v shape in the corners to make them fit?

i dont like the look of them when theyve been cut down the middle, even though mine has lol. just cut the corners as you said, attach with self tappers and cut the ends off. i think it looks miles better that way

yes as above but use as many self tapers as possible 1 every 6 inch at least or you get gaps between the bumper

So there is no need to cut it in the middle?

For an alternative to self tappers I'd use rivets.

Its much more fun using a rivet gun ;)
