any photos with the battery in the boot + hows it bolted down?

I dont have good pictures but mine is in the spare wheel well, I used the original battery tray an bracket that I cut out of the engine bay to bolt it to the floor. However mine is a corsa and its not quite as easy to remove the tray on a nova.

You can buy a battery box which bolts to the floor then put the battery in there.
I think they sell them at merlin motorsport for ?25/?30 i think.

if you are really hard up, fiesta couriers have a battery box. I actually have one knocking about, it is plastic with holes in it.
A lot of the competition type boxes are sealed. not sure how that would affect the long term reliability of the battery

Stick it in a box and vent it through the drainage holes in the wheel well to avoid posioning yourself or blowing yourself up when it's charging.
