Would twin 40's fit on a nova 1.3sr.how much 4 the kit & to get fited(rughly) if twin 40 wont fit is there any thing eals i could go 4

Twin 40's will fit, you'll need the carbs, inlet manifold, alternator bracket and the linkage, to link the throttle cable from one carb to the other.
To buy the whole lot new is ???, best thing to do is get a second hand set if you can. Theres also a guide on this site which explains more about fitting, etc. Its in the articles section.
Or you could fit a Weber 32/34DTML which is LOADS better than the Pierburg, and will fit on the current Sr manifold. These are about ?200 new, or you can try and get a secondhand one again.

Vaux did just this and made a few 1.3 wiv twin 40's and called them "Sport" It features an inlet manifold and induction box made by Irmischer as well
