i've heard the SR cam has a couple of mm higher lift, a few peeps have done this mod and found a couple of bhp and a bit of grunt in the proccess

what about the 1.3 crank and rods?

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

2.0 16v back soon :D

it does fit !! i put a 1.2 head on my sr and kept the 1.2 cam on aswell but the performance was down - not up. after a long head scratch and a look at the trusty haynes i found out that the sr cam does infact have a higher lift. 5.5mm lift if i remember correctly. when i refitted the sr cam i noticed quite a difference in mid range grunt and accelaration.

Yeah 1.3SR cam has 0.9mm more lift, check the haynes manual to compare heads cams etc
