I second that. When I went to see AIM they dragged out this aged West Indian crusty to mumble into a mic every now and then. It was about as aurally pleasant as hearing a baboon being stretched across a room.

Yes I like my D&B, been to see Twisted individual, Calibre, Dj Hype, Transit mafia, and others I cant remember!!
Fabio & Grooveriders show on radio 1 on friday nights 12-2 is really good.
Used to be really big into it, but now I will listen to anything, but still love D&B

Some MCs can actually compliment the music, but this is rarely the case.
Take MC Conrad for example, awesome voice & knows when to shut up. He really makes an LTJ Bukem set sometimes.
On the other hand some MCs just yell over the lyrics in tunes, shout utter drugged up litter & spoil it, not to mention annoy the hell out of the DJ every time he pulls off a sweet mix only for the retard to shout.....
WHO WANTS A REWIND?

drum n bass annoys me. Its just rubbish.
as for mc'ing ... jesus christ, gimme a break. Why dont those guys just shut the feck up, they dont add to the track in anyway, all they do i distract you from it - cant see the point. Total waste of time.
they might as well be reading out their fecking grans medication list for all the sense they make.

Drum & bass was what the two blokes at the back of the stage played when I was a teenager...........
The reason a lot of us old gits (late 30's) don't like DnB, Hardcore & rap is because we are old enough to remember the first examples of each & they were crap, then as with most things that start crap, they slowly get better, but most people get put off early on.
As far as I'm concerned, rap is just some bloke listing all his possessions, and his girlfriends. Anyone who goes through a divorce can do the same easily.
Drum and bass is only as good as the speakers imo, most chavs with there wiked 6by9s blarrin out while checkin out da local skool gurls is NOT cool,
i went to a club last ntie, that was playin DnB/Speedgarage and Niche Style tunes and thye have a mental sound system, everyone was dancing i'm not much of a dancing person but it got me up, i like a good basses(with the right about of trebble) sound system definatly going again..
the music i'm into...
RnB
DnB
Hardcore Heaven/SV/One nation etc etc
Trance(gottta love tiesto)
Niche
Speedgarage
Pleasure Rooms
Well anything with a Good baseline realy..
