Ruff bodyshop prices to smooth boot

hi i just want my boot number plate recess smoothed over so im still left with the wiper and the lock.
What sort of price am i looking at paying to get this done in a bodyshop

my mate got his done for ?60.

How can you seriously think that a bodyshop will smooth a recess and spray the whole tailgate for 60 quid maybe his mate done it or whatever but it is no use to this post.

For a tidy job I agree you will be talking 200+. If its fillered and a plate is not welded over it, the odds are it will crack to bits aswell.

i agree, unless sumone is desperate for work, your looking around ?150, and thats done properly, ie welding a plate in,grinding smooth, small bit of filler to get smooth and then primered and sprayed!
