lol I got 30 months out of my hosts before they threatened to shut my site down because my credit card had expired so they couldnt take payment.

Hosting really is quite a simple matter - you pay the fees, they let your site work ... at least that's what I've always found.

ps. Top tip. always register your domain with someone other than the company you host it with, that way you can always change the dns entries on it and point it at a new host without them being able to interfere.

the RB/NL thing goes waYYYYYYYYYY back to very early 00's, when either forum would "invade" the other and spam it etc... childish but funny.. then gave rise to a NL vs RB day at pod in good fun, since then its kinda been a fairly stable jib at one and other in good fun, but some take it a tad more personally than others lol.

Not really, Badger is chief admin, he sorts most technicall side of things.
Ged is the father of rb, however he'd like to move it away from novas and it seems cars, which i think is gay and il do my best to keep it a nova/car based site.
Rusty is also an admin as is Chip, one does very little and the other doesnt even post more than once a month.

Exactly, allthough I can see the reason, there arent many novas left on there, most of the time its just a random chat site. However I beleive its roots are firmly with novas and they shouldnt be torn out or it will die.

As the members grow up you're bound to see them ditching the cars they owned during their teenage years, and if they were really skint, until they were 25 or more lol

No reason to pull the plug on that whole aspect of the site though, thats just silly. What do you turn it into then? I mean, with a name like RoyBacer... it's gotta be about cars, or it might as well be the domain of some bloke called Roy from Middlesex or something.
