electric window fitting problem

have tried fitting my eleccy windows in. but they wont work, have even tried to just power them up of a battery on its own,

any special requirements needed to fit these and make them work i.e run to the fuse box?

yea i ran a red and a black peice to the fuse box, if your looking at the fuse box they go in on the bottom left, one above the other. have you earthed the cable too, mine earthed by the centre switches.

have you got mk1 or mk2 loom???

mk2 loom and yeah have earther the centre ring where switches are

If they dont work with a live feed from the battery then the motors might have gone!

The plugs push in on the right hand side of the fuse box and you will also need to make sure that the wire is connected up to either the battery or a wire that goes to the battery!
