i have a nova in the restorartion process at the minute and was wandering how hard it would be to drop a 2.0 8v engine into it. what all is needed to do this conversion and can you get a six speed box for it??

What 8v are you putting in it mate? i'm doing one as well, i'm putting the 20NE engine in mine, so far apart from the usuals in an engine conversion the only extra bits you need are uprated driveshafts, hubs and knuckles, REGAL AUTOSPORT sell them, they are 2.0 8v driveshafts with smaller joints on them to fit the nova... the ones that i,ve got to buy are 400 quid for the kit. just make sure you've got the full wiring loom, ecu and extra's you need everything you can get from the donor car to make your life easier!

its a standard fitting like fitting a big blockXE.... the usual kits etc are about. plus this is a mechanical question.... use the forum correctly.

the 6 speed F28 box is a waste of time on an NA engine (unless your running 250Bhp + 200bhp of nitrous lol)
