hi all i want to mount a mocal 13 row oil cooler and pipework , what im wanting to know is were is the best place to mount one on a nova with a 2l 16v in ALSO any pics would be appreciated
I've mounted mine like this.

I think most people just run it infront of the rad horizontaly.

behind the grill is a classic, you can fit the standard astra gte or cllay one in there quite nicely...

remember to sit it slightly on a angle. this is a common misstake most people make when postioning a oil cooler. There desiged like that so all of the fines on the cooler come into contact with the passing air il dig a diagram out when some one explained to me.

Hope thats on a thermostat (spelling) because cold oil is as damaging as hot oil. Thats a massive cooler!!
indeed. only fit one if you REALLY need it... even having an oilistat its a waste of weight/having a system that could fail lol

Another thing to rememeber get the correct sizes cooler. 10-13 row is the max for a 2.0ltr runnig 1000rpm over standard (i think)

mines going at a 45degre ish angle. between the tie rods. With a small heat sheild behind it to keep the wrapped exhaust manifold heat at bay.
