Have a 1600 8v nova and with the Oil pressure switch there is only a place for one wire. Is it possible to run a gauge and a light through switch or will I have interference and possilby get a false reading from the gauge with a light for low oil pressure? I am running an aftermarket gauge.

There is another type of oil pressure sensor with 2 outputs, the binary one for the low level light, and an analogue output for a guage.

Hope they help.
My 1600 8v (E16SE) looks like the one above. Xen0 are you saying the black plug is for an indicator whereas the wire you have connected is for a gauge?

Thanks mate,
must be a gte oil switch so and thats what I don't have. What should the oil pressure be on the 1600 8 valve.

The black plug drives the low pressure light on the dash.
The spade type terminal drives the analogue gauge :thumb:
