The grip was oustanding, I was shocked at how much they melted tho
Would recommend them for track use, prob not worth it on the road.

Didn't time the CSL I'm afraid, don't think it was out that much. I certainly don't remember passing it....or it passing me ;)

The nova headlights would've looked poo without the indicators (which wouldn't have lined up with the wings) So I opted for something completely different and as a bonus much lighter :D

If u after Pod tyres I'd definately recommend a set of BF Goodrich drag radial jobbies, from the rave reviews I've heard about them :thumb:

The wheels are Stil Auto SR500's painted in some metallic grey colour (believe it's based on a renault colour). Make me an offer on them if u like them ;)

I like em too, it's just that there is definately weight saving to be had by changing to something like a Superleggera, ATS DTC, Image split rim (I wish), TD Pro-race, Rota etc etc

Bang on dude! My mistake.

http://www.denmeadtyres.co.uk/alloy_wheel_and_tyre_packages.html

I used to love the SR 300, I wanted a Saph Cossie or Cav GSi with some. Thought they were Sr 500 for some reason.

Whats the offset on them? SR300 was available in 15" in et 49 IIRc which is one reason why I liked them.

IIRC they are ET49 and 15"

Dunno, I rarely sell stuff so have no idea of value (easy target lol ) so thats why I said make an offer. Also don't need to sell them really

Yeh that does help, any more pics of the way youve done youre wiring, mainly just from when it enters your car, across to the fuse box. That bit, thats meant to go behind dashboard,

Have you just put it in condruit(sp.) and run it along the top. Also wheres your hazard switch?

Thanks a lot

Paul

It enters at the normal point on the left hand side of the bulkhead, I have just run it through conduit as u said. The Hazard switch is at the base of the switch panel shown above. The fusebox is the standard item and is fixed to the bulkhead in approximately the standard position. I extended the wires for the headlights etc and wired them up to seperate switches (headlights and sidelights) and used relays to switch them.

Hope that helps!

The power of the brakes is fantastic allowing me to outbrake everything at Brands including race-cars! Unfortunately the pedal effort required to reach the decel is still far too high. I intend to modify the pedal lever assembly to allow me to run a longer lever and thus give me a better pedal ratio (i.e smaller force in for the same force out).
The DS2500 pads I have at the moment worked extremely well on track with no fade whatsoever, the only downside being that on the road it is difficult to keep the temps up high enough on them.

you'll prob have moddified yours buy the time i come to fit mine lol so you'll have to add it to your WIP thread mate. what front calipers you running? I was gonna use sone veccy V6's but reckon some willwood 4pots are the way forward??

Wilwood billet dynalites with 44.5mm pistons is what I'm running. I did quite a bit of searching to get the calipers with the biggest piston area to try and bring the pedal effort down, it's definately helped, but I feel there is still improvements to be made via pedal lever mods.
The wilwoods are also a lot lighter than the veccy jobs, which is always good as its all unsprung mass :thumb:
