Red Warning Light !?!

was breaking quitre hard tonight and a red warning light came on at first i thought it was the handreak but it wasnt as it is and exclamation mark

i.e !
can some one tell me what it is as i cant see as its gone out :roll: obviously

Low brake fluid !!
Get it checked !!

Take it the same light comes on when you pull the handbrake ?

level could be down cos pads are getting very low as rich said
get it looked at did you have any fade ??

yeah they are on there way out i thought/hoped it was to do with the brakes but it wasnt the handbrake light? it was directly next to it. i thought that hand brake light is the brake warning light unless it is just my dodgy vision lol
and yeah there is loads of fade and i was breaking very hard

Thats the low fluid warning, it may just have flashed up as you said because you were braking hard lol!!
Just check your fluid and keep an eye on it too!!
